Description

This rule teaches that Allah only gives us challenges we can handle, and we are responsible for our own actions.

Detailed Explanation

This verse from the Quran offers reassurance and comfort by reminding you that Allah knows your limits and will never give you a challenge that you cannot manage. Whether you are facing difficult times or feel overwhelmed by life's demands, it's important to remember this principle: every test you face has been set within your ability to endure and overcome it. According to Tafsir Ibn Kathir, this verse emphasizes the mercy and justice of Allah. He understands what each person can bear, and therefore, crafts challenges accordingly. This teaching can help you feel more at ease, knowing that your struggles have a purpose and are part of Allah’s divine wisdom. The verse also reminds you to take personal responsibility for your actions, as you will only be accountable for what you choose to do. The importance of this rule is highlighted in various Hadiths as well, such as one found in Sahih Al-Bukhari, where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "Whenever Allah wills good for a person, He subjects them to adversity." This teaching is meant to foster resilience and trust in Allah's plan for you. Remember, when faced with a challenge, you have the strength within you to rise to the occasion, supported by your faith and the understanding that Allah is just and compassionate.
